Purpose
It is intended to enhance the awareness and sensitivity to the children's rights in the adults, who are the listeners of the program, and the children, who are included in the crew of the program. It aims to change the passive image of children by making sure that such awareness is extended and adopted and also to emphasize that the children's rights may not be considered separately from the human rights. Another purpose of the program, on the other hand, is to announce the works of the children and adults and institutions engaging in direct or indirect work based on children's rights.
Participants
Listeners of Açık Radio, people and institutions engaging in work in children's rights or with children.
Activities
The program has a crew of 9 people, 4 of whom are unit employees and five of whom are children. 3 programs a month are being prepared by the children broadcasters and 1 by ÇOÇA. ÇOÇA supports the programs prepared by the children and joint preparatory meetings are held. Moreover, the knowledge and skills of the team members is enhanced as to both radio business and the children's rights through workshops realized every month.
